Hiring a tree company should feel straightforward. You should know who you are talking to, what happens next, when to expect the estimate, and what the job day will look like. At The Tree People, we keep the process simple, organized, and professional, from the first phone call to the final cleanup.
We serve homeowners, businesses, and property managers throughout Central Maryland, and we have built our reputation on clear communication and reliable results. If you have never hired a tree company before, or you have had a poor experience in the past…
When you call 410-975-9333 or contact us online, you will connect with our office representative. Their role is to make your first interaction easy and efficient.
We will gather the basics so we can route you to the right person and prepare for your appointment:
After we understand what you need, we schedule a visit with one of our estimators in your area. For many projects, an on-site walk-through is the best way to provide an accurate quote and the safest plan.
During the visit, our estimator will:
If you cannot be home, we can still move forward in many cases. The office team can coordinate access instructions and confirm exactly what you want us to look at.
After the visit, you will receive a written quote. In most cases, our office team will email or text your estimate within 24 hours of your appointment.
Your quote is designed to be clear. It should help you understand what work is included, what the cleanup expectations are, and what the next step is if you would like to move forward.
If you have questions, we encourage you to ask. A good estimate should not feel mysterious.
When you approve the quote, our office team will follow up by email and schedule your service. In many cases, scheduling is confirmed within 48 hours of approval.
At this stage, we will also confirm any details that help the job go smoothly:
The day before your scheduled service, our office team will email you to confirm the service date and a time frame for the crew’s arrival. Tree work is highly planned, but conditions can still change based on weather, job complexity, and safety.
We do our best to keep you updated. If anything shifts, communication is part of the job.
On the day of service, your crew arrives with a crew leader or foreman who manages the job on site. Our team will complete the work described in your approved proposal, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and protecting your property.
Depending on your service, that may include:
When the work is complete, we clean up thoroughly. Our goal is for your property to look like the work was done, but not like a crew just left.
Whenever possible, we complete a final check with you so you can see the finished results and ask any last questions. Payment is simple and flexible. If you prefer to pay by check, you can usually pay the crew leader on site. If you prefer to pay online, our office team can send an invoice that allows payment by credit card.
Once payment is received, we provide a receipt. We also include an easy way to leave a review if you were happy with the service, since customer feedback helps local businesses like ours grow.
We know most customers are not tree experts. Our process is built to be clear, responsive, and respectful of your time, so you can feel confident about who is on your property and what is happening next. If you are ready to get started, call 410-975-9333 or request a free estimate.
